Hönes cuckoo clocks stand for a good time worldwide.
Our current managing director built his first Black Forest clock as a child. In 1984 Wolfgang Trenkle took over the company Hönes Uhren. He designs and realizes all new models himself to this day. Deeply rooted in the centuries-old tradition of clockmaking in the Black Forest, Hönes clocks are handcrafted in a region famous for its watchmakers near the world-famous Titisee. Part of our company philosophy is that today, as then, we use the most important components and cases from domestic production and equip our clocks with precise time measurement technology.
Through the combination of design, creativity and function as well as with great attention to detail, the cuckoo clocks from Hönes are the epitome of Black Forest workmanship, which is appreciated by our customers all over the world. The satisfaction of our customers is the basis for our success. Time does not stand still, which is why, in addition to our successful classics, innovative developments are a matter of course.
The name Hönes therefore stands for quality from the Black Forest around the world.
In 1950, the Hönes company was founded by master clockmaker Daniel Hönes.
Wolfgang Trenkle took over the business in 1984.
This was followed by participation in various national and international trade fairs.
Our company grew and soon had to expand its business and workshop space several times.
In 1992 the name was also changed to a GmbH with Wolfgang Trenkle as managing director.
